Farmington Road. Go up to SW 170th and turn left At the first stop sign, turn left onto
Bany Road After 1 block, Bany becomes Hart Road Go about 1/4

Buddy
is 1-1/2 years old, and in desperate need of a loving forever
home. He has been secluded and neglected in a dark basement
for the last 6 months of his life, just about the time his seizures
developed. He is currently not on medication for them, as they are
fairly infrequent, only 1 or so per month. Because of his neglect,
he is also quite afraid of the dark, and needs a nightlite next to
his crate, and he is working very hard on his housebreaking and
crate training. He is a very loving boy, and bonds exceptionally
well to men, but needs someone willing to put the time and effort
into training him properly and teaching him some manners. Buddy was
somewhat abused by his prior owners children, so no young children,
only children over 8 years old. He has recently been neutered, and
had a full blood panel, which checked okay. Medication for his
seizures may be necessary at some point in the future. If you
would like to get an application for Buddy and meet him, please

The Adventures of Jet
As
told by BJ…
|
Against
my better judgment, I bought Jet a pig ear yesterday.
When he wasn't looking, I plopped it in his nest bed and watched as,
enticed by a new (strong) scent he examined it.
What the hell is this, bub? he seemed to query.
Tentatively at first, he nibbled it and gently carried it around, like a
new-found treasure. Eventually, he tore into it with gusto and, being Jet,
tried hiding it in various locations around the house.
The best place was under a dresser. I wish I had a pic! I'm amazed he was
able to wiggle himself under there!
A few hours later, he went to retrieve it and what he brought to my feet
resembled something from the X-Files or CSI: Boston Terror or a Stephen
King movie.
The thing was soggy and had a layer of skin partially gnawed off, flapping
oh-so nonchalantly from his mouth.
Hullo, Clarice...
It was too gross. I took it (after bribing him with a cookie), wrapped it
in several plastic bags, and threw it out.
For several hours this afternoon, he's been tearing ass all over the house
looking for the thing. When he can't find it, he looks at me. He knows
it's my fault his stinky, smelly ear is gone.
I rub his belly and tell him I'll make it up to him.
How about one of those cow hooves, bub?
