Bunny ~ Female ~ Seven years old
This little girl is named BUNNY. She is
a very sweet girl, a tad on the alpha side (but doing quite well with 6
heathen's getting in her face!)
Bunny has been bred near to death. The shelter has no idea exactly how old she
is, but are guessing somewhere around 7 or 8 years old. I would guess she has
probably had a litter some time within the last 3-4 months. I would also guess
it was somewhere around her 6th or 7th litter (at the very least). Bunny SHOULD
weigh somewhere around the 15-16 lb mark. She currently weighs closer to around
12 lbs. Not only does she have the half white face (including 1 ear), she also
has blue pigment in her eyes (the whole eye is not blue, just some parts of
it). Bunny has no idea what her name is, but will readily come running
when kissy noises are made. She gets along well with other dogs, and
adores children. She's also quite the "talker", and will chat
with you in the most amazing manner for several minutes when she feels she needs
special attention. Bunny is also not spayed at this time. She needs to put
on at least another pound before I will let the vet put her under for it. It
would also appear that Bunny was kept on wire (crating?) for some time, as her
pasterns are broken down quite a bit, and her nails are horrendously long and
some of them are strangely curled. Bunny is an escape artist, and chainlink
fence will NOT hold her. Bunny IS up to date on all her shots, and she is
microchipped. She is mostly housebroke (a couple minor accidents), but has
already learned how to use a doggy door. She WILL be spayed before
she is placed in a new home, and she will be available for adoption possibly in
another month or two. Depends on how long it takes me to get some weight back on
this skinny little girl. If you are interested in adopting this poor little
thing, please contact me kim@widgetbostons.com

Lucky ~ Neutered male ~ Seven years old
Luck is apparently on this boys side!
Lucky has been placed in rescue because his owner's failed to teach their
children how to properly treat an animal. He nipped a little boy who had been
teasing and tormenting him, hence he's looking for a new family to love. Lucky
is 7 years old, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs (all 5 of my little
heathen's!) but cat's are unknown. He has done quite wonderfully with my
grandchildren (particularly my 2 granddaughter's, who are 7 & 8 years old,
and my 4 year old grandson is his all time favorite).
Keep in mind though that my grandkid's have been taught since birth how to treat a dog with
kindness and respect. Lucky has a prior right front leg injury (broken) that was
repaired inexpertly, and the leg is slightly "off". Also, the lack of
exercise (he was in a small apartment) has left the muscle's of his right
shoulder severely atrophied. Mild daily exercise should bring him back
completely. He is otherwise quite healthy. He does require a fence that is
taller than 3 ft, as he seems to scale those with ease. He walks great on a
leash, and loves to go bye-bye. Lucky is up-to-date on all his shots, and
neutered. If you are interested in becoming Lucky's lucky new family, please

loves to play, "talks back" on occasion, and loves his treats!

UTD on his shots, and quite healthy.

Rocky ~ Neutered male ~ Eleven years old
Rocky has recently lost his home through no fault of his
own. His owner was placed in a nursing home where no pets are allowed, and
no other family members wanted him. He is eleven years old, and although a
bit overweight, he is still quite active. He is housebroke, loves to go
for walks, loves children, and is up-to-date on all of his shots. He would
do best if he was the only dog, but gets along well with other dogs quite
well. Rocky is in very good health considering his age, and still has
several years of love left to give. He just needs someone who doesn't mind
his geriatric state.
If you are interested in filling out an application for Rocky, and would like to apply for this loving boy to become a part
of your family, please call me at (360) 254-1942 or email me at kim@widgetbostons.com

Dragon ~ Neutered male ~ Two years old
Dragon is a two year old male with a very sweet
personality. So far, he has charmed everyone with his personality, and he
seems pretty intelligent. He knows his basic sit and down commands, and sits
very prettily for a treat. He mastered the doggie door within a matter of just a
couple hours. His owner decided to keep the JRT over the BT, so Dragon is
now searching for a new Mom & Dad and a wonderful forever home. I've been
told he loves children, and will find out for certain when my guinea pigs...
uh... I mean grandchildren come over to visit later this week. He does
apparently have severe issues with cats, so no kitty's for this boy. But he's
great with all my girls, including Jake, the other rescue I still have
available.
If you are interested in filling out an application for Dragon, and would like to apply for this loving boy to become a part
of your family, please call me at (360) 254-1942 or email me at kim@widgetbostons.com

Jake ~ Neutered male ~ Five years old
Jake is an adorable Boston. Very sweet and loving
natured. He totally adores children and other dogs, so I would like to
place him in a home with children over 5 years old (he may play a bit too rough
for younger children.) Cats are unknown. Jake plays fetch endlessly,
and wants very much to be a part of the family. He has had an allergic
reaction to his vaccines in the past, so it is recommended that he be
given titer tests in the future. He has also been diagnosed with a grade 1
luxating patella, but it only bothers him slightly after very strenuous
exercise. If you would like to apply for this loving boy to become a part
of your family, please call me at (360) 254-1942 or email me at kim@widgetbostons.com

Ellie ~ Spayed female ~ One year old
Ellie is a bit of a problem child. She has never had proper training,
and on occasion, acts like the young Boston she is. She seems to get along
well with children, but I was told she has nipped before. Ellie will need
supervision and a stern but loving environment to thrive and become a beloved
member of the family. Ellie has no health problems, and is up to date on
her shots.
Ellie has found a fantastic
forever home with
Greg & Tosha Young of Portland, Oregon!!
Greg & Tosha have a Basset
Hound named Arnold and wanted a
Boston Terrier to share their home and love
with.
Congratulations
Greg & Tosha!!

Buster & Toby ~ Neutered Males ~ 6 Years Old
Buster & Toby haven't had much luck in life so far.
They come from a recently broken marriage, and for the past 2 months have been
left alone in the home with periodic visits by the owner for feeding. They are
both 6 years old, littermates, and are neutered. They've been together since
birth, so would like to find a home where they can both be together. Neither of
the boys have been around cats, so that is questionable. They both are good with
children, walk well on a leash, and use a doggy door quite well. They appear to
get along well with other dogs and would like to play (it's just MINE who don't
want to get along! LOL)
Buster has an appointment on Tuesday for a cyst on his left
side which has been let go for quite some time. It's approximately the size of a
tennis ball. The owner states it has been there for a year (hmmmmm?) He has an
appointment on Tuesday morning to have it checked out and possible removal. He
is approximately 20-23lbs, and is a real lover.
Toby appears to be in good health, although he will be
joining Buster at the vet on Tuesday for a general checkup. Toby appears to be
the alpha of the two, but they get along well together. He is approximately
16-18lbs.
If you would like an application to adopt these two boys,
please call (360) 254-1942 or email me. kim@widgetbostons.com
Buster & Toby
Buster & Toby have found a
wonderful forever home together!
Buster had surgery to remove
the tumor (it was unfortunately an MCT-grade 2), but he is doing well and is
recovering nicely. Buster and Toby are now happily ensconced in their new
home, and we wish them many years of happiness together. Congratulations
to Richard Martin in becoming another well loved pet of a Boston Terrier!
